Katrina’s Story:

Katrina was about seven years old when she saw a female news presenter on TV and thought, “I want to do that.”

It wasn’t just the glamour or the authority, what captivated her was the power of being the person who got to ask the questions and tell the stories that mattered. When her mother confirmed this was an actual job, Katrina’s path was set.

Fast forward a few years: at just 12 years-old, Katrina pestered the chief-of-staff of a local radio station until they let her intern at Parliament House in Canberra. Her first official foray into the world of journalism? Holding the microphone during bitterly cold early winter mornings and door stopping arriving politicians.

She never looked back.

Since then. Katrina has built a career spanning over two decades as an award-winning journalist, TV and radio presenter and communications expert. From breaking major stories to fronting rolling network coverage to training CEO’s on powerful presentation techniques and commanding audiences in the thousands as an event MC and keynote speaker; Katrina brings the same passion and curiosity that sparked at age seven to everything she now does.
